This week’s main event at ONE Friday Fights 107 could alter the career trajectory of one of Uzbekistan’s most promising Muay Thai fighters.
Aslamjon Ortikov returns to Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok this Friday, May 9, to take on Dedduanglek Wankhongohm MBK in flyweight Muay Thai. If the 22-year-old defeats yet another Thai, he could receive what all fighters in the weekly series desire most — a US$100,00 contract with ONE Championship.
Since joining the ONE Friday Fights circuit in 2023, Ortikov has reeled off six victories, three by knockout. If he can finish Dedduanglek, a Road to ONE: Thailand winner, he may earn his spot on ONE Championship’s deep roster of flyweight strikers.
Dedduanglek will be fighting for something a little different, though. Having already pocketed a contract, he’s trying to inch his way closer to a spot in the top-five rankings. But he hasn’t had that breakthrough performance just yet, losing twice to number four ranked Nakrob Fairtex.
