If you’re already in Bangkok, getting to the Muay Thai stadiums is quiet easy. In fact, most people take a taxi, book a Grab, or use the BTS or MRT. But if you’re not yet in the city and wondering how to get to Bangkok, this guide will walk you through all the options you have. Then, once here, you can navigate your way to Lumpinee Stadium, Rajadamnern Stadium, Channel 7 Stadium, or Siam Omnoi Stadium.
International Or Domestic Flights

You can fly into Bangkok from most international destinations or from within Thailand from one its domestic airports. Either way, you’ll arrive at either Don Mueang Airport or Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. From either of these locations, you can take a taxi to the stadiums or get to the nearest BTS or MRT line and then follow the directions below.
Buses
Buses that come to Bangkok from around Thailand usually arrive at Ekkamai Bus Terminal. Once at Ekkamai Bus Terminal, you can get to the stadiums quite easily.
- Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Lumpinee Stadium: Get on the BTS at Ekkamai BTS Station and take the BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS Station. From there, take a 5-minute taxi ride down Ram Inthra Road.
- Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Rajadamnern Stadium: Get on the BTS at Ekkamai BTS Station and take the BTS to Asok BTS Station. Transfer to the MRT and take it to Sam Yot MRT Station. Either walk or take a taxi from there.
- Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Channel 7 Stadium: Get on the BTS at Ekkamai BTS Station and take the BTS to Mo Chit BTS Station. From there, walk 5 to 10 minutes to Channel 7 Stadium.
- Ekkamai Bus Terminal to Siam Omnoi Stadium: Get on the BTS at Ekkamai BTS Station and take the BTS to Asok BTS Station. Transfer to the MRT and take it to Lak Song MRT Station. From there, take a 20-minute taxi down Phet Kasem Road.
Vans
Vans are a popular way to get around Thailand and cost less than airline tickets and taxis but slightly more than buses. You can take a van from any province in Thailand to many major hubs throughout Bangkok, the most popular being Victory Monument. That said, here’s how to get to the stadiums from Victory Monument if you arrive there by van.
- Victory Monument to Lumpinee Stadium: Get on the BTS at Victory Monument BTS Station and take the BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS Station. From there, take a 5-minute taxi ride down Ram Inthra Road.
- Victory Monument to Rajadamnern Stadium: Get on the BTS at Victory Monument BTS Station and take the BTS to Asok BTS Station. Transfer to the MRT and take it to Sam Yot MRT Station. Either walk or take a taxi from there.

Bang Sue Grand Station
You can take a train into Bangkok from most parts of Thailand. Most likely, you’ll arrive at Bang Sue Grand Station or possibly Hua Lamphong Station. Here’s how to get to the stadiums from Bang Sue.
- From Bang Sue Grand Station to Lumpinee Stadium: Walk to Bang Sue MRT Station and take the MRT to MRT Phahon Yotin Station. From there, walk to Ha Yaek Lat Phrao BTS Station and take the BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS Station. From there, take a 5-minute taxi ride down Ram Inthra Road.
- From Bang Sue Grand Station to Rajadamnern Stadium: Take a taxi.
- From Bang Sue Grand Station to Channel 7 Stadium: Walk to Bang Sue MRT Station and take the MRT to Chatuchak Park MRT Station. From there, walk 5 to 10 minutes to Channel 7 Stadium.
- From Bang Sue Grand Station to Siam Omnoi Stadium: Walk to Bang Sue MRT Station and take the MRT to That Pra MRT Station. Transfer onto the MRT that travels to the Lak Song MRT Station. From there, take a 20-minute taxi down Phet Kasem Road.
Hua Lamphong Station
Although most trains arrive and depart from Bang Sue Grand Station nowadays, Hua Lamphong is still active. If you arrive to Bangkok via Hua Lamphong, here’s how to get to the stadiums.
- From Hua Lamphong Station to Lumpinee Stadium: Take a taxi (or walk) or to BTS National Stadium Station. Take the BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat BTS Station. From there, take a 5-minute taxi ride down Ram Inthra Road.
- From Hua Lamphong Station to Rajadamnern Stadium: Take a taxi.
- From Hua Lamphong Station to Channel 7 Stadium: Take a taxi (or walk) or to National Stadium BTS Station. Take the BTS to Mo Chit BTS Station. From there, walk 5 to 10 minutes to Channel 7 Stadium.
- From Hua Lamphong Station to Siam Omnoi Stadium: Walk to the Hua Lampong MRT Station and take the MRT to Lak Song MRT Station. From there, take a 20-minute taxi down Phet Kasem Road.
Taxis
I wouldn’t recommend hiring a taxi to drive you across the country. But if you’re coming to Bangkok from Pattaya or even Hua Hin, then you can get a taxi for around 3,000 to 5,000 Thai Baht (US$100 to US$150).
