Former three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex will face Selina “Teep Queen” Flores in an atomweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 47, streaming live on Prime Video from Lumpinee Stadium on Saturday, September 5.
A win for either fighter carries championship weight. Flores, a multi-time WBC Muay Thai World Champion riding a five-fight win streak, could bolster her case for a shot at reigning atomweight Muay Thai titleholder Allycia Hellen Rodrigues with a victory over Stamp.
A win for Stamp, 28, could instead set up a rematch against Rodrigues, the fighter who currently holds the belt she once carried alongside her kickboxing and MMA crowns.
Stamp is coming off a split-decision win over Cynthia Flores at The Inner Circle 20 in June, her second bout since a lengthy rehabilitation stint. Flores joined ONE on a four-fight winning streak and extended it to five with a win over Marie McManamon at ONE Fight Night 36.
A second Muay Thai matchup on the card carries similar stakes. Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi, 24, needs a win to snap a three-fight skid and reach the 61st victory of his career. His last win came via a 52-second head-kick finish of Nakrob Fairtex that earned a $50,000 bonus.
His opponent, Jordan “Panda Kick” Estupinan of Colombia, opened his ONE tenure 9-0 with victories over Ali Saldoev and Freddie Haggerty before consecutive losses. The 23-year-old trains under Team CSK and Team JC Fernandez ahead of the September 4 card.
Both Muay Thai bouts join a growing lineup for ONE Fight Night 47, which broadcasts live on Prime Video from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
