Rajadamnern Stadium hands its ring over to New Power Group on Wednesday, 12 August, with a four-bout card starting at the earlier time of 6:00 PM. It’s a leaner, more traditional offering than the stadium’s Knockout series, and deliberately so.

Those shows lean on international matchmaking. This one is built almost entirely around Thai fighters in the lighter divisions, the weight classes where Rajadamnern’s technical reputation was made. For anyone who wants to see the stadium doing what it has always done best — small, sharp, high-level domestic Muay Thai — this is the card.

Rajadamnern’s main event is the only bout of the night with a foreign entrant. At 127 pounds, Hanuman of Thailand meets Brazil’s Nolison Silva Cardoso in the classic test of Thai ring craft against South American power and pressure. It is the heaviest fight on the card, and the one most likely to be settled inside the distance.

The co-main event is a pure Thai matchup at 125 pounds between Petchsaenkhom and Petchrenu. Two experienced domestic operators in Rajadamnern’s sweet-spot weight class, this is the fight for purists — expect clinch work, scoring knees, and a contest decided on the fine margins the stadium’s judges have always rewarded.

Live on AIS PLAY, Play Sports channel 541.
