Thai Fight League is what you get when you mix the traditional Muay Thai format from the stadiums with the entertainment Muay Thai format that has taken Thailand by storm. The promotion features the best of both worlds and, to make things even more exciting, its fighters compete with their fists bound in rope.
If you’re new to this website my name is John, a former Muay Thai commentator living in Bangkok since 2014. I’ve called the fights at many of the top stadiums, plus others. I share my knowledge, insight, and experiences so that you get the most of your Muay Thai viewing experience in Bangkok. If you’re looking for more info, leave a comment below. With that said, let’s jump into how you can watch Thai Fight League in Bangkok.
Thai Fight League: A Brief History
In the early 2010s, Thai Fight became an instant hit in Thailand. It’s original concept pitted the country’s most famous Muay Thai fighters against those of other countries. In a way, the promotion was one of the first to break the mold of traditional Muay Thai.
In 2023, though, it launched Thai Fight League, a weekly Sunday night series that matches up some of rural Thailand’s most exciting fighters. The fighters may not have the same skill level and experience as those fighting in the stadiums, but they come to put on an entertaining show and deliver each week.
Thai Fight League Event Schedule For March 2025
Thai Fight League kicks off every Sunday at World Siam Stadium in Bang Kapi. The show starts at 6:00 PM and finishes around 8:00 PM. Always check with World Siam Stadium in advance to make sure the schedule hasn’t changed. I’ve left a link in the Where to buy Thai Fight League Tickets section.

Thai Fight League Ticket Prices
You have one option for tickets — 1,000 Thai Baht ($30). For this price, you can sit anywhere in World Siam Stadium. The quality of fights may not be on par with those at the major Muay Thai stadiums in Bangkok. But at 1,000 Thai Baht, the experience is worth the money if you have nothing to do on a Sunday night in Bangkok.
Where To Buy Thai Fight League Tickets
You can buy tickets in person at World Siam Stadium.
Best Seats
The weekly Sunday Thai Fight League show takes at World Siam Stadium next to The Mall Bang Kapi. The seats at World Siam Stadium are all very close to the ring. But the they do come in sections.
Bleacher Seating
For the best viewing experience, sit on either side of the ring, but make sure you’re facing one of the closer sides of the ring, as in the picture below. From here, you can see the intricacies of the wai kru up close and hear every attack land.

If you sit in the seating area in the top right of the above photo, you will be further away from the ring.
Television Seating Area
Thai Fight League offers a seating section for those who want to be featured on Thai television. If you sit in this area, the ring announcer will ask you to cheer when the cameras pan to that section.

You won’t be as close to the action in this area, but it is one of the more exciting areas to sit in as many people will be cheering.
Thai Fight League Muay Thai Fights
Thai Fight League is a mix of entertainment Muay Thai and traditional Muay Thai. In typical entertainment format, the fights consist of three, three-minute rounds and fighters can win decision, knockout, or technical knockout. It’s rare that fights go to a draw, but if they do, and they’re a title fight, the fighters will compete in a fourth and final round.
Fights are also traditional in the sense that the promotion lets fighters perform the wai kru, and the traditional music is played live during the fights. The fighters, however, almost always compete with their fists bounded in rope rather than wearing boxing gloves. This adds an extra layer of excitement to the fights.
Dress Code And Bag Policy
There are no dress codes or bag policies to enter Thai Fight League.
Age Restrictions
Children of all ages can enter Thai Fight League, making it the perfect attraction for those on family vacations in and around the Bang Kapi area.
Food And Drinks
Because Thai Fight League is near The Mall Bangkapi, you have plenty of options for food and drinks. The road also has many restaurants that serve Thai food, Japanese food, pizza, and more. Once in the venue, you can buy snacks and drinks.
How To Get To Thai Fight League
Thai Fight League moved its venue from Beat Active at Bangkok International Trade and Convention Center (BITEC) to World Siam Stadium (Google Maps link) in 2024. You can get to World Siam Stadium from the MRT Yellow Line. Get off at MRT Bang Kapi and walk south toward the stadium.
Final Thoughts On Thai Fight League
Thai Fight League is a great venue for those who don’t follow Muay Thai too closely but want to experience an entertaining night of fights either alone, as a couple, or with children.
You won’t get to see high-level Muay Thai or experience the traditional ambiance of one of the major stadiums, but the fights deliver on entertainment. I suggest you read my guide to World Siam Stadium next, as it’ll give you much more info on the stadium itself.
