Yonis Anane will face Ricardo Sanchez in a strawweight Muay Thai bout headlining three newly announced additions to ONE Friday Fights 170 at Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, September 11.
Anane, the youngest-ever WBC Muay Thai World Champion, enters the fight with a 48-10 record after three promotional wins were followed by back-to-back losses. Sanchez, also 19, is unbeaten in two ONE Championship appearances since his April debut, having won by TKO in kickboxing before adding a Muay Thai victory in June.
Anane is the younger brother of former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nabil Anane. Sanchez holds an 11-1 overall record.
Two additional Muay Thai bouts were also confirmed for the card. Kongchai Chanaidonmueang, riding a four-fight winning streak and a 78-16 career record, will face Ayad Albadr, who has won five straight after opening his ONE run with two losses.
Yodlekpet Or Atchariya, a 31-year-old veteran with four Muay Thai World Championships and 94 career victories, will meet Mohamed Taoufyq, who has three promotional wins including a second-round knockout in his most recent bout.
