Songchainoi Kiatsongrit headlines an atomweight Muay Thai main event against Banluelok Sitwatcharachai at The Inner Circle 27, streaming live in Asia primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on Friday, August 21, seeking the 61st win of his career.

Songchainoi is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Numsurin Chor Ketwina in June, a result he attributed to a difficult weight cut rather than his opponent’s preparation.

“It was a big learning experience for me. Credit to him, he was well-prepared. But on my end, adjusting my weight for the fight drained me, and my body never recovered,” Songchainoi said.

Songchainoi said he has built his training camp around countering Banluelok’s left kick, which he identified as his opponent’s primary weapon, while also sharpening his own boxing.

Songchainoi said his long-term goal remains a rematch with reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Nadaka, but that he wants to string together multiple wins first rather than seek an immediate title opportunity.
