World Siam Stadium is a Muay Thai stadium in Bangkok that features both entertainment and traditional Muay Thai fights. It’s not as popular as other major stadiums in Bangkok, but it’s Sunday night show is worth visiting if you’re in the area.
By the end of this guide, you’ll find out everything you need to know about World Siam Stadium, including ticket prices, Muay Thai fight schedule and events, best seats, directions and location, dress code, food and drinks, nearby attractions, and much more.
Key Takeaways
- Pick World Siam Stadium’s Sunday Thai Fight League event over its Friday show.
- Arrive with a full stomach because the stadium has a limited food choices inside.
- Buy your tickets at World Siam Stadium to avoid paying marked up prices online.
- If you want to sit close to the ring, go into the stadium a few minutes after the show begins so you’re not shuffled to the television seating area further away from the ring.
- Expect entertaining fights, but don’t expect world-class fighters.
How To Get To World Siam Stadium
You have a few ways to get to World Siam Stadium – by taxi, MRT, or canal boat. I’ll break down each method in more detail.
By Taxi
To get to World Siam Stadium by taxi, hail a taxi anywhere in Bangkok and show them the Thai address at the bottom of this guide. Or bring up the stadium’s address using the Google Maps link also at the bottom of this guide. If they aren’t familiar with the address, tell the taxi driver to take you to the The Mall Bangkapi. The two “a” letters in Bangkapi sound like “ah” not like the “a” sound in Bangkok. If you say it incorrectly, the driver won’t know where you want to go.
Once you arrive at The Mall Bangkapi, walk right toward the Tawanna Market, then turn left down the first road. Continue down that street until you get to World Siam Stadium on your left.
From The MRT Yellow Line
To get to World Siam Stadium using the MRT yellow line, buy a ticket to Bang Kapi station. When you arrive at the station and exit the train, follow the signs for Exit 3 The Mall Bangkapi. Once you get to Exit 3, you’ll see Makro on your right side. Walk downstairs (or take the elevator) to Lat Phrao Road. Make a right down the first road between Makro and Tawanna Market. Continue down that road until you get to World Siam Stadium on your left.

By Canal Boat
To get to World Siam Stadium using Bangkok’s canal boat system, take any boat along the Wat Sri Bunruang Water Gate to The Mall Bangkapi Pier. Once you arrive at and exit the pier, follow the signs for Tawanna Market. World Siam Stadium will be on your right, just before the back entrance of the market’s indoor section.
Best Time To Visit World Siam Stadium
Although World Siam Stadium currently holds Muay Thai events on Fridays and Sundays, I’d recommend the Sunday show one hundred percent of the time. The weekly Thai Fight League show airs live on Thai TV from the stadium every Sunday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Skip the Friday show altogether, as it features young fighters who are just starting their careers.

World Siam Stadium Tickets And Prices
You can buy World Siam Stadium tickets online or at the stadium. Because I’ve never bought tickets to World Siam Stadium online, I won’t recommend any sites blindly. There are a few websites out there that do sell tickets. You can do a Google search and see what comes up.

But because the stadium never sells out, I recommend buying tickets at the ticket window. This way, you’ll avoid paying any markups on online ticket prices. World Siam Stadium ticket prices are 1,000 Thai Baht ($28) each.
Muay Thai Fights And Event Schedule
Event | Day | Times | Cost In Thai Baht |

World Siam Stadium Seating Plan
World Siam Stadium is one of the smaller Muay Thai stadiums in Bangkok. So no matter where you sit, you’re close to the action.
But because the venue rarely fills to capacity, staff at World Siam Stadium encourage everyone to sit in the seating area that faces the television cameras. In fact, if you pick any other seat, they will most likely ask you to move to this section, unless it’s already full. Once you’re seated there, they will ask you to cheer for the television cameras when ring announcer gives you the signal.

If this section is already full, you can sit wherever you like or wherever the staff direct you. That said, directly to the left and right of the boxing ring will get you closest to the action — I mean feet away. If you tried, you can reach your arm out and probably touch the fighters. For obvious reasons though, I wouldn’t recommend doing this.
What To Expect During The Muay Thai Fights At World Siam Stadium
If you go to the Sunday night Thai Fight League event at World Siam Stadium, you get to experience seven fights over the course of two hours. Usually in each fight a Muay Thai fighter from Thailand faces a fighter from somewhere else in the world.
At the start of the show, the ring announcer enters the ring and encourages the crowd to cheer the fighters on. After all, the event airs live on Thai television. When showtime begins, the first fighter is announced to the ring. The fighter makes a short walk from behind the seating area toward the ring, then enters it. The other fighter is then called to the ring.

When both fighters are in the ring, they will perform the traditional wai kru and ram muay. After this, the fight begins. At the end of the fight, a winner is announced and the next pair of fighters are called to the ring. And so on and so forth throughout the night.
Although the fighters aren’t as good as those who compete at Lumpinee Stadium, Rajadamnern Stadium, Channel 7 Boxing Stadium, or Siam Boxing Stadium, Thai Fight League has a unique selling point. Its competitors fight not with gloves but with their fists bound with rope. This form of entertainment Muay Thai makes for some exciting fights and even more interesting outcomes.
World Siam Stadium Food And Drinks
World Siam Stadium has a small snack and beverage shop on the inside of the venue. You can buy chips and other snacks here. Plus they have an assortment of beverages like water, soda, and beer. There is also a coffee shop in front of the stadium.

To be honest, the best place to eat is not inside the stadium, but outside. Right up the road from World Siam Stadium is the popular Tawanna Market. Here you will find an assortment of Thai food and snacks. Plus there’s a line of indoor/outdoor Thai restaurants along the road that World Siam Stadium sits on. If you want to enjoy some food and drinks before or after the fights, this is the place to do it.
Dress Code
World Siam Stadium doesn’t have a dress code, which means you can dressed as relaxed as you want. You don’t have to wear long pants or a long skirt like you would to satisfy Channel 7 Boxing Stadium’s strict dress code.

My Final Thoughts On World Siam Stadium
I wish I could rate World Siam Stadium up there with the likes of Lumpinee Stadium, Rajadamnern Stadium, Channel 7 Boxing Stadium, and Siam Boxing Stadium, but it doesn’t draw the same crowd and the fights tend be of lower quality. That doesn’t mean the stadium isn’t worth visiting. In fact, I go there every now and again with my daughter.

But I’ll finish this guide by saying this: If your plans are flexible enough to pick which day of the week you can watch Muay Thai fights in Bangkok, choose one of the other Muay Thai stadiums I’ve linked to throughout this guide. If Sunday night happens to be the only night you can watch Muay Thai, then by all means check out World Siam Stadium.
